Journey to Growth (http://www.j2gmn.com), Rochester Area Economic Development, Inc. - RAEDI (www.raedi.com) and 504 Corporation (www.504corporation.com) will be recognizing a number of Rochester-area entrepreneurs, including Resoundant CEO, Richard L. Ehman, MD, at the 3rd Annual RAVE Event (Recognizing Awarding Valuing Entrepreneurs) on Friday, November 18th from 4:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m. at DoubleTree in Rochester.
“Entrepreneurial activity in our region continues to gain momentum. As our ecosystem continues to evolve with new programs and resources, we can expect significant economic activity to be generated as well,” said Gary Smith, RAEDI President. He continues, “RAVE is our annual opportunity to celebrate the entrepreneurial activity taking place in our region and recognize individuals and companies who make it all happen.”
In accepting the award, Dr. Ehman had a positive message for aspiring entrepreneurs. “Focus on solving real problems and finding opportunities to show that your solution works. You will need passion to navigate the collision of invention with market, but make sure to keep things in perspective and find satisfaction in creating a positive impact in the world.”
The event will close out a week of entrepreneurial activities taking place for Global Entrepreneurship Week (GEW). GEW is a yearly worldwide movement supported by the Kauffman Foundation.
